Welcome to another week of Keep It Real Thursdays. First thing, I have some news. We’ve decided to make a few changes and as a result we won’t be hosting Keep It Real Thursdays in the future. I want to invite anyone who currently hosts a whole food link up or round up party to leave their web address below in the comment section. That way we can still partake in the fun! After all, it isn’t the end but the beginning of something new.

As part of that change, we will also be changing our posting schedule to Tuesdays for (TV Tuesdays) and Fridays. There may be some fun news on the horizon, but I’ll keep those a secret a little while longer…

Keep It Real Thursdays – Breakfast, Snack, Drink, Dinner and Eating Your Veg

Welcome to another Keep It Real Thursday. Today we have all kinds of fun things to share…as we do every Thursday. Last week it was soup and, oh boy, there was soup. There’s enough in that post to keep you going with warming comforting bowls of goodness all winter long.

Keep It Real Thursdays – Soups ON!

Welcome to another week of Keep It Real Thursdays.

This week I wanted to highlight some of the lovely soups that were shared here last week. Since I’ve been on a bit of a soup kick lately, as seen here and here, what better time then now to get your soup on?

Soups can be quick and easy, nutrient dense, and very flexible. I love that often the vegetables can easily switch out, depending on what you have on hand and what is seasonal. The beans or legumes are often the same way too. And a meat based soup can often be easily converted into a vegetarian soup or even vegan, simply by leaving out the meat and substituting a good vegetable broth.

Keep It Real Thursdays – Yummy Comfort Foods

Every week I struggle with this and as a result I choose some kind of theme (in my head at least) to help me get through the selection process. This week I chose yummy comfort foods. Probably because as I write this I’m freezing my “bleeeeep” off. I can’t wait to jump into the Bikram yoga hot room tonight!
