I normally share a recipe on Whole Food Wednesday. It has usually been a salad because, lets face it, when it comes to hump day, we want something fast. Chances are you haven’t had as many veggies as you set out to at the beginning of the week, so there’s a little catching up to do. But no salad recipes today. Instead…how about a film?

This week I was at Delicious Obsessions, who shared this trailer and a link to watch a Free Worldwide Online Premiere of Hungry for Change. If you’ve never been to Jessica’s site, you should definitely check it out. Her site is packed with fun facts, videos, how to’s and a year long series on Bad Ass Bacteria – a series on fermented food. I decided to help Jessica spread the word.

Whole Food Wednesdays – Oven Roasted Cauliflower with Tahini Lemon Dressing

Nothing complicated here peeps. Just good old cauliflower. But GOOD cauliflower. I roasted this up in the afternoon for lunch and left the leftovers sitting on the counter for most of the afternoon until I turned around and they were all gone. I guess we’d eaten them all, that or the little food gremlins came by and STOLE them! Greedy little gremlins…

It just goes to show you that people will eat what’s readily available, hence the reason fast food chains do so well. Set out a bowl of fruit and or prepped veggie sticks and that’s what the family will reach for. Or in this case a bowl of cauliflower was mine and my husbands afternoon snack.
