Keep It Real Thursdays – Yummy Comfort Foods

Every week I struggle with this and as a result I choose some kind of theme (in my head at least) to help me get through the selection process. This week I chose yummy comfort foods. Probably because as I write this I’m freezing my “bleeeeep” off. I can’t wait to jump into the Bikram yoga hot room tonight! And maybe enjoy one of these delicious bowls of healthy goodness afterwards…

This means, no ingredient lists that include edible oil products (velveeta, frozen whip topping), protein powders, ketchup, white flour, margarine or white and brown sugar.

      I love oysters. Lately I’ve been craving them. In fact I have an order of 24 kusshis (small oysters) coming in today. They are very high in B12. Something I need more of. Thanks for sharing both posts today with the community.

    Hooray! I’m Finally sharing some recipes this week!

    By the way, great highlights. Tessa’s soup does look amazing (like everything she makes).

    This week I am sharing two delicious meals. One is a vegan soup (French Lentil, Butternut Squash, and Dino Kale), the other is one of my absolute favorite meals: Chicken, Black Bean, and Delicata Squash Enchiladas with Homemade Enchilada Sauce. I’ve served this to many, many folks (all traditional eaters) and everyone has LOVED the recipe. So I’m excited to share it with you too.
